JabRank (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the JabRank iOS application (“the App”) collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the App.
JabRank is designed with a privacy-first, local-only approach. We collect only the information necessary to provide core functionality.
1. Information We Collect
a) User-Generated App Data
JabRank may process the following data created by you while using the App:
- Training sessions and activity records
- Performance metrics (such as counts, timing, and progress history)
- App preferences and configuration settings
Storage: This data is stored locally on your device. JabRank does not transmit this data to external servers unless you explicitly enable Apple-provided system services such as iCloud backup or device syncing.
We do not operate our own backend servers for personal data storage.
b) Device Permissions
JabRank may request access to the following system permissions:
- Motion & Fitness data — required to support motion-based training and activity tracking features
This permission is used only to enable core functionality and is not accessed for advertising, profiling, or tracking purposes.
2. How We Use Information
The App uses information solely to:
- Provide and operate core training and performance features
- Display progress, metrics, and historical activity
- Improve app reliability, stability, and usability
- Diagnose crashes and fix bugs
We do not use your data for advertising, behavioral tracking, or marketing.
3. Data Sharing and Third Parties
- JabRank does not sell your personal data.
- JabRank does not share personal data with third parties for advertising or tracking purposes.
If you have enabled Apple system services (such as iCloud backup or Apple-provided analytics/crash reporting), data handling is governed by Apple’s privacy policies and terms. JabRank does not control how Apple processes such data.
4. Data Storage and Retention
- App data is stored locally on your device.
- JabRank does not define a fixed retention period; data remains on your device until you choose to delete it.
- You can remove all locally stored data at any time by deleting the App or clearing its data (if supported by your iOS version).
Retention and backup behavior may vary depending on your device settings and Apple account configuration.
5. Children’s Privacy
JabRank is not intended for use by children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect, store, or process personal data from children under 13. If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
6. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed by the App. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of data stored on your device.
7. Your Choices and Controls
You have full control over your data. You may:
- Grant or revoke Motion & Fitness access via iOS Settings (some features may stop working)
- Delete the App to remove all locally stored data
- Control device-level backups and syncing through Apple settings
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect app changes or legal requirements. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
